Printer maker Lexmark made several key strategic moves in 2006 - including exiting the low end of the inkjet market - that helped revive its consumer division and, ultimately, the company stock. The near-term outlook for Lexmark is worrisome however. Its enterprise business, typically its strongest division, has shown signs of weakness recently. And the printer landscape is only getting more crowded. In February of 2007, Eastman Kodak announced it would enter the inkjet printer market, while foreign firms like Canon and Epson have been making a push to claim a bigger chunk of the market.
