Why we chose it: Yale School of Management (SOM) boasts about the wide latitude that students have, once they complete core requirements. They can study Health Management, Business and the Environment, and even drama or education. There is a joint masters degree with SOM and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. The Program on Social Enterprise (PSE) offers 35 courses for a concentration in social entrepreneurship. Each year, the PSE collaborates with SOM student clubs to organize conferences and other events, such as the Global Venture Competition, which offers a grand prize of $25,000 for the best business plan.
