Star Stryker
In 1994, Yamaha announced the creation of Star Motorcycles, a new stand-alone brand for its cruiser sales in the U.S. In 2006, the brand expanded and became its own company, although Yamaha still handles production and distribution.
Star sells 14 models, ranging in price from $4,090 to $20,090, designed in America and made in Japan. The all-new Stryker, with its raked front end and what Star calls a "fists in the wind" riding posture, looks like it might have come out of the "American Chopper" garage. The Stryker is powered by a 1304cc V-twin engine and starts at $10,990.
