Schauer knocked off first-term Rep. Tim Walberg to capture this economically strapped Michigan seat in 2008, winning with less than 50% of the vote. Now Walberg is back, having won a contested primary for the right to a rematch against Schauer. Schauer comes into the race with a roughly 7-to-1 cash advantage.
