That party was highlighted by the Dow hitting a new milestone this week, topping the 18,000 threshold for the first time ever. The index is now up about 9% this year.
The Nasdaq and S&P 500 have enjoyed even bigger gains, rallying about 14.5% and 13%, respectively.
