Los Angeles Auto Show greatest hits

The FCX Clarity is the production - make that limited production - version of the Honda FCX experimental fuel-cell car shown at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Honda will begin leasing these vehicles to a limited number of southern California households beginning in the summer. The cars will be leased for three years at a cost of $600 per month.

This car represents the second generation of the FCX. The previous version was a much boxier looking car with a less advanced fuel cell system. The new FCX boasts 30 percent better fuel economy - roughly equivalent to 68 miles per gallon - and a 20 percent increase in range compared to the "old" FCX.
