First act: The onetime product manager for Tang became CEO of Boulder-based organic dairy Horizon, which sold to Dean Foods in 2004 for $246 million.

Second act: Marcy spent two months on the slopes in Vail, then launched Healthy Food Holdings, a private equity - backed outfit that buys small, good-for-you food brands like Van's organic waffles.
