In the eight years since Transwitch made the No. 1 spot on the 2001 FSB 100 list, the semiconductor company has fallen victim to slowing demands for its devices. Revenues in 2007 were just $32.6 million, down from $155.1 million in 2001. Transwitch blamed the revenue drop on a major network rollout delay, plus inventory problems.
