Revenues at 4Kids Entertainment, a children's entertainment brand-management company, are as variable as a toddler's passions. 4Kids entered the FSB 100 in 2001 at No. 2. But 2007 proved to be a particularly slow year for the company, with sales dropping to $55.6 million, down 46% since 2001. 4Kids was hit hard by a drop in licensing revenues from franchise brands such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Nintendo.
