Take all the credit cards out of your wallet except one - and you'll have fewer bills, rack up more rewards and be better able to track spending. (Don't cancel the rest, as it could hurt your credit score; store them in a drawer.)
If you carry a balance, figure out which of your cards has the lowest interest rate (look on the bill). The average is now under 12%. If your best card is higher, call and request a decrease. If you pay in full, keep the card with the rewards you're most likely to use.
