Tweetie 2 is an essential app for a social-networker on the go. This popular Twitter program packs a lot into the iPhone's screen: It handles multiple accounts and displays your friends' messages on a clean interface.

Of course, there's no shortage of Twitter apps, but Tweetie 2's extras set it apart. If you don't have time to craft the perfect 140-character message, you can save drafts for later. In offline mode, Tweetie 2 caches tweets so you can read them even if you don't have an Internet connection.

Tweetie 2 also remembers the last page you were browsing when you closed it or received a phone call, and it will bring you right back there when you open the app again.
