Do@ wants to transform mobile search on the phone by creating a search algorithm specifically tailored to the mobile platform.
Do@ allows people to search using @ categories. For example, users searching "pasta" can choose how they want search the topic -- @cooking @restaurants, or @foodspotting, depending on which type of search is most relevant to them. Results are then delivered directly from Web apps, replacing standard linked search results. Users will have the ability to rank the results using Do@'s "social radar."
The app launched last week and is currently available on the iPhone. The crew also announced $7 million investment round led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
