Toyota's truck could make a big mark

Full-sized Tundra is having some early success in the market, but domestic contenders won't be easy to push aside.

Working with hammers, air compressors and drywall means working with files, papers and laptops, as well. You need to keep track of what you're spending, whom you're charging and which job site has the backhoe.

So the Tundra's center storage console isn't just bigger than the competition's. It's specifically designed to hold hanging file folders and laptop computers.

Like everything else on the Tundra, it also feels solidly built. The top doesn't wobble on its hinges or feel like like it's going to come off after being repeatedly slammed for a few years.

With plenty of other storage spaces throughout the cabin, including two separate glove compartments, the Tundra would make a passable mobile office.
