Why we chose it: Students learn entrepreneurship by doing at the University of Michigan. One of the most popular classes, New Venture Creation, is taught by veteran entrepreneur James D. Price, founding partner of Company Crafters, a venture consulting firm, and Cielo Med Solutions, a healthcare software start-up. Price uses the case-study method and assigns teams of students to work on a business development project for the entire term.
