An amazing 70 percent of Paulding residents leave the Atlanta-area county each day to go to work. But they're starting to come back, thanks to an aggressive economic development plan headlined by a $45 million airport construction project that local officials believe will serve as the catalyst for massive job growth. What's more, the federal and state governments will completely fund the project, which earned Paulding County the U.S. Department of Commerce's Excellence for Economic Development award.
