It has been ten years since the last X-Files movie and it's about time the FBI busted some metaphysical bad guys.
Agents Scully and Mulder return to the big screen in Chris Carter's "The X-Files: I Want to Believe." And conspiracy theorists across the nation are blogging up a storm.
Though details of the plot are sparse, the film is said to be a standalone project, not a sequel to the last X-Files film.
"It's an interesting choice for a big summer movie release," said Gray.
Despite its cult status, the television series and the first movie were not that popular with the broader public, according to Gray. And when it comes to ticket sales, he thinks expectations for the film are low. "The bar for X-Files is not that high," he said.
