Ebix runs online exchanges for insurance policies, annuities, and other products. Some 300,000 brokers, insurers, and banks process $100 billion worth of policies on its exchanges, says CEO Robin Raina.

For example, if a company needs to buy policies for its employees, it can search for the right coverage on exchanges like WinFlex and AnnuityNet instead of individually asking insurance companies for bids.

The Atlanta-based company, which gets a piece of each transaction and also performs back-office work for insurers, has grown at a torrid pace. Its three-year annualized revenue growth rate is 50%; sales totaled $75 million last year.
