What makes it so great? This small health-care consulting firm has just under 400 employees, with 50 fresh-out-of-college associates hired last year. New grads are given big responsibility from the start: They're assigned to a client and meet directly with them in the first week on the job to gain familiarity and learn about their specific needs. There's also extensive weekly travel to client sites. A flexible work schedule allows consultants to work from home on three Fridays a month and new hires are given 20 days of vacation in the first year. Also, 61% of the new college grads they've hired in the past five years are women.
