Dodge Challenger
Rank: 9
The Challenger has been a hit for Chrysler, a carmaker that could badly use the good news.

Challenger owners are a satisfied bunch, according to J.D. Power's owner satisfaction surveys. The Challenger ranked as the best-liked car in its segment in the most recent survey.

Chrysler made the unusual move of entering the market with only the top-of-the-line SRT-8 high performance version for the 2008 model year, holding the less extreme versions back for a few months until the 2009 model year. Apparently, Chrysler called it right and the Challenger has been selling well without the need for heavy incentives.

General Motors, meanwhile, didn't do as well with its launch of the Pontiac G8. Despite relatively high owner satisfaction scores, owners knocked its quality.
