"We were walking down Temple Bar on the south bank of the Liffey River and I came across this doorway with a brass plaque bearing the words Irish Stock Exchange," says Tully. "The building looked like an old hotel, with a majestic staircase. I tried the door but it was locked so I rang the buzzer. A women's voice informed me that the exchange is not open to the public."
