The tony quarter quiets down
Tully pauses near a pub along Grafton Street, where the tony boutiques are buzzing and the entertainment and nightlife are still exciting. But residents say the buzz is a whisper compared with the atmosphere of runaway "Now we're rich!" affluence that reigned just 18 months ago, when everyone was buying a second or third apartment for speculation. Now there are 20% pay cuts all over the land.
