Schmidt formally endorses Obama. He begins speaking at Obama events, and, as election day nears, he appears in a primetime Obama infomercial that airs on Oct. 30, saying, "When I read his economic plan and saw all the people endorsing it -- Warren Buffet and others -- I thought, 'This is the right plan for America.'"
