Boing Boing editors
Imagine: One of the most popular sites on the Internet got its start in 1988 and makes money.
Under the guidance of Cory Doctorow (35), David Pescovitz (36), Mark Frauenfelder (46), and Xeni Jardin (34), the popular "directory of wonderful things" website now receives over 2 million visitors a day. With that kind of traffic, it's no surprise that Boing Boing, which began life in as a fanzine, was also one of the first blogs to begin making serious money -- reportedly $40,000 a month - off of advertising.
