Hewlett-Packard purchased Sood's niche computer company VoodooPC, which sells high-end gaming PCs for up to $52,000 a pop, in what many saw as a me-too attempt to catch up with Dell's purchase of Voodoo rival Alienware. But then HP put him in charge of its gaming efforts in the hopes that he'll bring his innovative ways to all of HP's PC lineup.
