Details: The houses in this neighborhood are, in contrast with some Orlando areas, mostly owner occupied, according to the listing agent, Veronica Davis Lee. As such, they are less likely to undergo the broad price swings as neighborhoods that have attracted more speculative investing in the past few years.

"This community is one in which people live full time, in which they bought their first or second homes," says Davis Lee. She expects prices to remain very steady here although, as she puts it, "the market is taking a breather."

The Orlando market still has a lot going for it: The economy is strong and the population is still growing. Combine those factors with today's low interest rates and the value of housing should not fall too steeply.
