Get quote: ING
The Dutch financial conglomerate earned more than 80% of its revenue from retirement services and life insurance in Western Europe, the Americas, and Asia. A strong insurance market helped overall revenues grow 14.5% in 2006. ING also owns the world's biggest online bank, ING Direct, which had 17 million customers and $253 billion in deposits at the end of last year. It's a small segment of ING's business for now, but ING hopes that online banking growth in Europe and Asia will drive future revenue growth.
