And with a number of modern office parks nearby and easy access to BWI Airport, it's also a great place to house a business. As part of the Howard County public school system, Elkridge has some of the best schools in the state. But unlike other Howard locales, Elkridge remains highly affordable, with low crime to boot. -B.N.
