Instead, to create the special edition Viper ACR, Dodge lightened the car a bit, gave it some aerodynamic add-ons, including a massive rear wing, and covered it an eye-catching paint job.
A "Hard Core" option package makes the car 80 pounds lighter than a standard Viper by removing things like the stereo, which you probably wouldn't have been able to hear anyway because the underhood silencer pad also goes away. The trunk carpet and tire inflator are removed as well.
The ACR's suspension package is adjustable for ride and damping, allowing for an easy switch from track to street driving.
