The Los Angeles Auto Show will mark the first time the general public gets a first-hand look at the new Corolla. Toyota unveiled the 10th generation of its biggest selling car, and one of the biggest-selling cars of all time, at the Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show in Las Vegas last month.

For the new Corolla, Toyota wanted a lower, sportier shape. The new look also results in more interior space and luggage room while keeping roughly the same dimensions.

The new Corolla will be powered by a 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. A 2.4-liter engine with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission will be optional.
