But, for those interested in a modern full-size car, the old Town Car just wasn't doing it anymore. That's why Ford is bringing out the MKS.
The MKS will be offered with optional all-wheel-drive. The standard engine will be a new 270-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 based on the 3.5-liter engine used in the MKZ. It will have a 6-speed transmission.
Within a year of the MKS's launch, launch, Ford will offer an optional tubrocharged V6 that, Ford claims, offers the power and torque of a V8.
Prices for the MKS will start at just under $38,000, Ford says.
