Chrysler recently announced that its Chrysler unit will stop producing the Pacifica, a three-row crossover SUV. The Dodge Journey will take its place in the market.

The five-seat Journey will be offered with an optional two-seat third row. Novel features will include a "child presenter seat" that allows part of the second-row seat to move two inches forward so the driver can more easily attend to the child (for use only when the vehicle is parked). The full second row can move forward and back 4.7 inches.

It will be available with a 3.5-liter, V6; 2.7-liter, V6 or a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine. The 3.5-liter engine will come with a manually shiftable 6-speed automatic transmission. Those with the 3.5-liter will be available with all-wheel-drive.
