Why we chose it: George Washington's four-year old Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership Initiative, which received a 2006 specialty program award from the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, targets undergraduate and graduate women outside of the business school by offering them a core course in business basics, and pairing them with female entrepreneurs and executives who serve as mentors.
