Founder and CEO, Dell (DELL)
Age: 42
After taking back the CEO job earlier this year, Dell is trying to do for his eponymous company what Steve Jobs did for Apple a decade ago: Pull it out of a slump. Signs of change abound: On May 1, the company announced it would sell and ship PCs with Linux preinstalled, and is putting its computers in Wal-Mart stores -- the kind of retail channel that Dell previously spurned.
