Who matters now?

Imagine on your next trip avoiding the hassle of crowded airports and passenger jets. Instead, a personal jet with no more than four passengers flies you wherever you need to go -- for less than the cost of a charter plane. Air taxis, as they're known, are the vision of computer-industry veterans Iacobucci and Raburn. In April, Raburn's company got the FAA's okay to start producing its $1.5 million five-seater jets in volume. More than 300 of those will go to DayJet, Iacobucci's air taxi startup, which launches service in Florida later this year.
