A natural drainage swale with large rocks and junipers guards the front of the green. We moved the green along this seasonal drainage flow to use the area as a hazard. As a result, we shifted the tees back to keep the total desired yardage.
Moving this hole to the right allowed Nos. 12 and 13 to share a corridor and connect the maintained turf. A unique feature here is that a group of bunkers splitting 12 and 13 act as hazards for both holes.
