This is a long downhill finishing hole that plays toward the clubhouse. The drive is set up to let players swing away, and possibly give them a shot to get home in two. The best drive will be greeted with a flat lie at the end of the landing area. It is possible to drive past the plateau and further down the hill, in which case you'd be left with a mid-iron to the green from a severe downhill lie.
The green is guarded on the front and right by a rocky stream. Any chance at getting it close has to challenge that stream. On a recent round I went for the difficult back right hole location and hit it into the stream. I took my drop and made a tricky up and down across the stream to save par.
This is a classic finishing hole that allows for birdies and eagles, but can also produce a big number.
