I've always enjoyed the challenge of figuring out the correct club to hit at high altitude courses. I like a golf course that makes you think on every shot, and that philosophy is magnified when you add altitude to the equation.
I normally hit 7-iron on this hole from the back tees, but I have hit as little as a 9-iron downwind. And let me tell you, it's difficult to talk yourself into that club when you look down at the yardage plate.
This is a mid-length par 3 with bunkers guarding the back left and back right pin positions. We designed par-3s of varying lengths at Red Sky in an effort to make players use every club in the bag.
